What the ad price leaves out
Intro prices end. Autopay discounts need autopay. Taxes and fees sit on top. The calculator works month by month, so a plan that starts cheap and rises is counted at both prices.
A phone paid over 36 months with bill credits is free only if you stay. Pick a month and see what you would still owe and which credits you would lose if you left then.
